Structured investments provide exposure to financial markets with the potential for either capital growth linked to the performance of the underlying market or a fixed dividend income. It also aims to return your initial investment amount in full in certain circumstances, as long as you hold your investment until the end of the fixed term.

Terms and Conditions

Source:
RBS plc & Bloomberg. The above Autopilot Levels are not redemption prices and are not the current value of any products linked to the strategy.

Autopilot is an innovative, rule-based strategy which rebalances monthly and has been designed to minimise many of the risks and costs often associated with direct investment in the different market sectors. Through the use of a monthly market direction assessment it aims to track these market sectors when they are deemed to be rising, and divert to a reserve asset linked to a cash deposit interest rate return when they are deemed to be falling.

Important things to consider
• Autopilot does not invest directly into the shares of the underlying listed companies of the specified indices. As you do not invest directly in shares, you will not receive any dividend payments and you may not receive the same return as if you had invested directly in the indices.
• The maximum positive performance that can be contributed to the Autopilot Level is capped each month. The details of the cap can be found in your Terms and Conditions available from your regulated adviser.
• There is no maximum to the negative performance that a market sector can contribute to the calculation of the Autopilot Level in any one month.
• The value of stock markets and market sectors can fall as well as rise.
• Autopilot is exposed to emerging markets and commodities which can be riskier than developed market equities.
• Any product linked to Autopilot will have its own risks.
