Eligibility criteria
Royal Bank of Scotland Private is available to all customers with a sole income of at least £100,000 paid into their Royal Bank of Scotland account, or minimum outstanding mortgage borrowings with us of £300,000, or savings and investments of at least £100,000 held with us.

The loss of family or a close friend is always difficult. Facing the practicalities and paperwork on top of the grief can be overwhelming. Rely on the sympathy and expertise of our Estate Administration Service to help you shoulder the burden.

Under the guidance of an experienced estate administrator, our team will take care of everything including:

- establishing assets and liabilities
- paying any taxes due
- distributing the remaining estate to the beneficiaries

If the deceased hasn’t left a will – or if the appointed executor is unable to carry out their role, we can assist. Naturally we treat any concerns and queries in total confidence. A fee will apply for this service.
