Step 1. Important information before you apply

 

Are you opening a First Saver in trust on behalf of a child?

You'll need to be 18 or over to open an account for a child under 16.

 

Enter your details in the application first, then complete the child's, each section will be clearly marked with Parent/Guardian or Child. After you've completed your application, we'll let you know of any ID documents we might need to open your account.

 

Enter your mobile number and email address, and we should be able to confirm your ID online if you're an existing customer. We'll email you letting you know how.

 

If you’re applying for a First Saver in  trust for a child who already has another First Saver or a Revolve account, we are unable to  complete your application online today. You can either make the application in the child's own name, meaning they are legally entitled to the funds in the account, or book an appointment with your local branch. Aged 7 to 15 and opening a First Saver in your own name?

Complete the application with your personal details. You'll need to get your parent or guardian's approval before you submit your application.

 

After you've completed your application, we'll send you a letter in the post. We'll need you to provide a copy of an identity document in a RBS branch or via post.
