Decreasing your overdraft won’t take long

If you’ve got an Arranged Overdraft limit that you feel is too high and you really don’t need that amount of flexibility on your current account, we’ll show you how to decrease it.

Things to keep in mind…

If you reduce it too much, you might go into Unarranged Overdraft. Here’s an example for an Unarranged Overdraft costs.

How to decrease your Overdraft limit

Treat it as a new application

You'll need your Digital Banking Log in details so we can pre-fill parts of your application and save you time.

Tell us the new amount you want

The minimum overdraft limit you can have is £250. This means that you won’t be able to reduce your existing limit below £250.

Submit your application online

Apply online using the section below. Once you’ve submitted it, we’ll try to action it as soon as we can.
