Using our Mobile Banking app is another safe way to bank with us. Find out more about banking on mobile and to download our award-winning app

If you lose your mobile device, make sure you cancel it immediately with your phone operator

Always, log off each time you finish using Digital Banking and don't leave your computer or mobile device unattended while you're using Digital or Mobile Banking

Never give your Digital or Mobile Banking security details to anyone else, including your Customer Number, full PIN, full password or card reader codes

Never log in to Digital Banking using your card reader - we will never ask you to

Never enter your Digital Banking details in full on a computer or mobile device

Use strong passwords which are at least 8 characters long, a combination of upper and lower case letters and numbers

If you suspect that someone has got hold of your details, tell us as soon as possible

Our Mobile Banking app uses sophisticated encryption that will keep your information safe. But this doesnt stop people looking over your shoulder. When in public, always make sure no one can see your laptop, tablet or smartphone screen

Check that no one is looking over your shoulder when using Digital or Mobile Banking in public

Public WiFi hotspots are not always secure. Try to access Digital or Mobile Banking on your own private broadband, work connection or 3G or 4G on your mobile

Beware of unsolicited or unexpected contact, such as an email, phone call, text message or home visit. We will never ask you to pay money away from your account to protect yourself from a fraud

Review your account activity regularly and alert us immediately if you notice something unusual
