How do you want to send the money?
Transferring money between accounts
Whether you are standing in the queue while doing your weekly shop or planning to save for that next trip away - our app is the easiest way to move money between your accounts while out and about.
The app is designed to make moving your own money as quick as possible. To make a transfer simply open your app and tap on 'Transfer' underneath your account to get started.
Manage your regular payments
Direct Debits and standing orders may sound time consuming and tricky to manage, but our app makes understanding and staying in control of them as easy as possible.

Let us know your Travel Plans
If you are going abroad this summer and plan on using your debit or credit card, let us know first and reduce the chance of your card being blocked by our fraud teams.
To register your travel plans with us open your app, tap on the account linked to the card you intend on using and choose 'Manage my card' to find Travel Plans.
You can create one Travel Plan at a time for a maximum period of between 2 to 90 days, that includes up to 7 countries. Each country will need to be registered individually. Each Travel Plan covers one debit card or credit card and joint account holders should register separately.

Downloading our app is easy and secure.
What you'll need:
Your mobile phone
Your Digital Banking Customer Number, PIN and Password
Your step-by-step guide:
Go to your app store and search for Royal Bank of Scotland. Download and open the app when you have found it.
Our app is available for iPhone, iPad, and Android devices.
Follow the on screen instructions and confirm your mobile number with the activation code we send you.
You'll be asked to create a passcode. This passcode has to be at least five digits long. It's what you'll use to log in to the app after you've registered.
Whilst you should make the passcode memorable to you, you can later turn on fingerprint or facial recognition login, so you won't need to keep entering it.
You'll be asked to enter your Customer Number, which you use to login to Digital Banking.
If you haven't yet got one simply tap 'What's my Customer Number?' and complete the registration form for Digital Banking, which you need to have to use our app.
Confirm your Digital Banking PIN and Password. Your PIN will be 4 numbers and your Password will be made up of both letters and numbers.
Once you have entered these then you are finished registering and good to go!
