How do you qualify for Premier Banking?

You'll need to be a permanent UK resident and meet one of the following:

Common questions about joining Premier banking

How do I switch to Premier Banking?

If you want to switch to us, we can help you when you apply. To start, simply choose either our Premier exclusive account or one of our other accounts - whichever is the right one for you.

The Current Account Switching Service will then move everything across from your old account to your new Royal Bank account, including Direct Debits, standing orders etc, within 7 working days. It's completely free and is backed by an industry wide guarantee to ensure the move goes smoothly.
