As soon as your available Rewards balance is the equivalent of £5 or more, you can log in to MyRewards to exchange them. Keep in mind, if you choose to bank your Rewards it will take 5 working days to clear.

To login, you first need to set-up your MyRewards account. You'll need your Royal Bank debit card number on hand.

• We’ll automatically send you a DragonPass Premier membership card when you open or upgrade to a Reward Black account.
• You will need your membership card to gain access to lounges and receive discounts at spas and restaurants. 
• Download the DragonPass Premier app from the Apple App and Google Play store. The app provides full details about your benefits including lounge locations and opening times, and the ability to purchase guest visits and pre-book selected lounges.
• If you have a joint account and are travelling with the other account holder, you will both need to show you membership cards, either the plastic version or through the app, to access lounges and receive discounts.

Airport lounges are owned and operated independently of DragonPass. Admission is granted subject to capacity and at the discretion of the lounges.

Family cover includes you and your partner, plus any dependent children aged under 18 at the start of the journey, (under 23 if they’re in full-time education). Children must be living at the home address (or with the other parent), and be neither married or in a Civil Partnership

Your partner is the person the account holder lives with at the same home address in a relationship, whether married or cohabiting

Medical conditions

If anyone covered by this policy is aged 70 or over, you must call us each year to obtain cover. You will need to pay an annual premium of £75 per person insured aged 70 or over and be medically screened.

If you have a new or existing medical condition please visit membership services. You may have to pay extra for this or you may find that your condition cannot be covered. 

If our insurers U K Insurance Limited (UKI) are unable to offer you an upgrade to extend the level of cover you need, or your upgrade insurance premium is higher than you expected because you have medical conditions, help could still be available.

UKI have been working with the Financial Conduct Authority and the Money and Pensions Service to create a directory that you can search when UKI are unable to help.

What you need to know about our Mobile Phone Insurance cover:

Covers the phone used on a daily basis by you, your partner and/or your children under 18 years old who live at home with you (under 23 years old if they are still in full time education and living at home with you outside term time).

There is no cover for phones owned by your employer.

Four approved claims can be made on this policy in any 12 month period.

Claims are settled by replacing or, in certain circumstances, repairing your phone. Our replacement phones are refurbished handsets in ‘as new’ condition using genuine manufacturer parts. Our repairs use genuine manufacturer or manufacturer quality parts.

There is a £100 excess for each approved claim when your phone is replaced.

There is a £50 excess for each approved claim when you choose our convenient walk-in or mobile repair options.

Replacement phones include a 12-month warranty. Phones repaired by our mobile or walk-in repair agents include a 24-month warranty.

What you need to know about UK & European car breakdown cover:

Includes Home call when your car won’t start at home

Roadside assistance, anywhere in the UK and Europe - for European trips outside the UK, cover only applies for vehicles less than 16 years old at the start of the trip

There is no vehicle age limit for UK journeys

Cover is for all vehicles owned by you and registered at your home address. You are also covered in any privately registered vehicle you travel in, anywhere in the UK.

Cover is limited to 5 callouts in any 12 months. It doesn't cover any repair costs once the insured vehicle has been transported to a garage or repairer.

Cover for two homes – your main residence and any second you own in the UK (excluding properties you rent out).

To be covered the home must be owned by you and be your permanent, or secondary, private place of residence. Detached garages and outbuildings are not covered. Your home must be in the United Kingdom or the Isle of Wight.

Other exclusions:

• External water supply pipes;
• Boilers over 10 years old, or with an output over 75kw;
• Any emergency if your home has been unoccupied for more than 60 consecutive days
• Detached garages and outbuildings; and
• Homes in Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands, the Scilly Isles and the Isle of Man.

It's important to remember that this is not a household buildings or contents insurance policy, or an equipment maintenance contract.
