Hassle free spending with your credit card abroad

 

Now you can register your travel plans via Digital Banking at least 24 hours before your trip and we'll do our best to ensure your holiday spending with your credit card isn't affected at all.

From the "Cards" page in Digital Banking, select "Using your credit card abroad" to register your trip.

Now you can view, save and print up to 7 years of your credit card PDF statement transactions from Digital Banking. 

From the "Statements" page in Digital Banking, select "view, save and print PDF statement transactions" within the "Your personal credit card" section.

What would you like to do today? You can manage your credit card whenever it's convenient to you and stay in control of your finances. Here are some of the things you can do:

Check your balance whenever you want and keep up to date on what you've spent using your credit card. 

You can get the most up to date view of your credit card online.

You can transfer the balance from another credit card or store card, to your Royal Bank of Scotland credit card.

You can request balance transfers up to a total of 95% of your available credit limit, the minimum amount you can transfer is £100.

You can use money transfers to send money from your Royal Bank of Scotland credit card directly to your own or someone else's UK bank account. 

You can transfer money from your credit card up to a total of 50% of your available credit limit, the minimum amount you can transfer is £100.

  • Log in to Digital Banking
  • Select 'Cards' from within the left hand menu
  • Select 'Using your credit card abroad' on the page 
  • Register your travel plan details

Viewing your full credit card statement

 

You can view 18 months worth of your credit card PDF statements securely online. With your PDF statement you can download, save and print it at your own convenience.

From Credit Card Online Services you can control how you receive your statements. You can choose to receive your statements online and stop paper statements, we will let you know when a new statement is ready to view.

From the "Statements" page in Digital Banking, select "view, save and print PDF statement transactions" within the "Your personal credit card" section.

You can take control and manage your credit limit online.

You can ask for your credit limit to be increased or decreased and you're given a decision instantly.

Once you've reported your card is lost or stolen, your new card will be with you within five working days.

Paying your credit card

The easiest and most convenient way to pay your credit card is online, where you can choose how much you want to pay.

You can also pay your credit card using a monthly Direct Debit, to make sure you never miss when a payment is due. You can choose the amount you want to pay, making a minimum required payment, full or fixed amount.

There are many other ways to pay your credit card available to you as well.

Alerts are a great way to keep up to date and help you manage your credit card.

You can set up alerts to remind you when your payment is due or when your balance goes above a certain value.

If you need to update any of the personal details we hold for your credit card, you can review and manage them online.

From Credit Card Online Services, you can update your telephone numbers, home address and email address all for your credit card.

Please note:

This will only change your address for your credit card. If you have Royal Bank of Scotland current and/or savings accounts you will need to update your address separately. Find out more about how to change your address for your current and savings accounts.

We are now issuing our credit cards with contactless technology to all eligible customers. 

Did you know you could change
your existing credit card?

If you have a Royal Bank of Scotland credit card already, did you know that you
could change it to one from our current range of credit cards?

Your credit limit, Direct Debit and PIN will not change and no credit reference
agency checks are needed either.

You can transfer balances of any amount up to 95% of your available credit limit.
