Young Saver Application Thanks for applying for a First Saver Account

Great news, you have now successfully submitted your application for a First Saver Account!

In order for us to confirm your child's details, we need you to supply us with their Birth Certificate or valid UK Passport.

You can do this in three ways:

  • If you qualify for our First Saver ID Checker you will be sent an email within the next 24 hours inviting you to upload a picture of child's ID online. You can do this from your tablet, mobile or PC with camera, all without leaving your home! Remember to check your inbox for details of this.

  • Don't worry if you don't receive the email, your next steps letter is on its way to you now. You will receive your letter in the next 3-5 working days asking you pop into your nearest RBS Branch where our team will be happy to help.

  • Alternately, if you don't want to go into branch, you can post your child's ID to one of our contact centres.

Once we have confirmed your child's ID you will receive your account number and sort code. After receiving this you can pay into your First Saver Account using these details. If the account is in trust for your child, it will appear in your Digital Banking within 24 hours of opening.
