Getting Emergency Cash
In a nutshell
When your debit card has been lost or stolen, our Emergency Cash service makes sure you don't have to go without cash in your pocket. We'll give you a code to type in to a Royal Bank of Scotland or NatWest cash machine, which will let you take money out of your account.
- If you're a digital or telephone banking customer, you can make one withdrawal of up to £300
- If you're not registered for these services, you can still get £60 to tide you over
Please note: You can only use our Emergency Cash service when you call up to cancel your card. If you use the mobile app you will no longer be able to use Get Cash until you have a replacement debit card.
You have to cancel your card via the lost/stolen service. Withdraw up to £130 every 24 hours at any Royal Bank of Scotland, NatWest or Tesco ATM, as long as it’s within your daily withdrawal limit. You must have at least £10 available in your account.
App available to customers with Digital Banking and a UK or international mobile number in specific countries.
